DinkGo and DUPR team up to rate pickleball in Latin America

"¡Buen dink!" "Cuidado con la kitchen." "Ese drop estuvo bacano." Walk onto any court in Latin America and you'll hear the game in two languages at once.
Pickleball is growing fast across the region, from 6 a.m. sessions before work to weekend tournaments that run until the lights come on. Now those matches can count. With the new DinkGo DUPR integration, players can connect their DUPR account to DinkGo and send their results straight to their rating.
What is DinkGo?
DinkGo is a pickleball app built in Bucaramanga, Colombia, by DL SOFT. It was designed around the way Latin America plays.
- Players: Find where to play, sign up and pay for tournaments and social play, and follow your matches and results from your phone.
- Organizers: Run registrations, schedules, courts, and results in one place.
No more spreadsheets. No more bracket screenshots in the group chat. No more "¿a qué hora juego yo?" ("What time do I play?").
How the DinkGo DUPR integration works
Once you connect your DUPR account inside DinkGo, here's what changes on court:
- Your matches go to DUPR automatically: Tournament and social play matches set up to count for DUPR use the final score already closed in the app. Nobody has to type anything twice.
- Your ratings live where you play: You'll see your doubles and singles DUPR ratings on your home screen, in your account, and when you sign up for a tournament.
- You know what counts before you play: Divisions that count toward DUPR carry the label "Cuenta para tu rating" ("Counts toward your rating"). If a division requires a DUPR account, the label reads "Exige DUPR" ("DUPR required").
Why it matters for your DUPR rating
Your DUPR rating gets sharper with every match you log. The more results on record, the more accurately your number reflects your actual game. DUPR recommends logging at least 10 to 15 matches before trusting your rating fully.
That's been the gap for a lot of players in the region. You might play four times a week with your parche, but if none of those matches reach DUPR, your rating can't keep up with your game.
DinkGo closes that gap. The matches you already play now feed your rating without any extra work. Organized tournament and club results also carry more weight than self-posted rec games, since they're verified.
Your matches, your call
DUPR and DinkGo built this integration around player control. Here's how it works:
- Every player decides: A match goes to DUPR only when everyone who played it says yes. Nobody answers for their partner. If you say no, the match isn't sent.
- You sign in on DUPR's own page: Your password never passes through DinkGo.
- Only what's needed is shared: Your DUPR ID, the score, the date, the tournament or session, the division, and the venue. Your name, email, and phone number are never shared.
- Only completed matches count: Walkovers and tied matches are never sent.
- You can disconnect anytime: Unlink your DUPR from your DinkGo account whenever you want. Matches already sent stay on DUPR.
How to connect your DUPR account to DinkGo
It takes three steps (en tres pasos):
- Open DinkGo and tap "Conectar mi DUPR" on your home screen, or go to Cuenta (Account) and tap "Conectar" on the DUPR card.
- Review what gets shared, check the authorization box, and sign in with your DUPR account.
- ¡Listo! Your DUPR is connected.
