Finding DUPR-rated tournaments in Southeast Asia just got easier. Sports Control Hub, a Singapore-based tournament management platform built for organizers across Southeast Asia, has named DUPR its official rating system.

Under the partnership, DUPR becomes the official rating system integrated into Sports Control Hub, connecting player ratings, tournament registration, category placement, match results, and rated-event reporting in a single tournament workflow. Organizers in Singapore, the Philippines, and the wider region now have a direct path to running DUPR-rated tournaments, while players gain more opportunities to earn a recognized rating through competition closer to home.

Why fair divisions start with real ratings

Every tournament organizer knows the problem. Players sign up, pick a skill level, and the bracket falls apart the moment someone sandbags or overestimates their game.

"The hardest part of running a fair tournament isn't just the scheduling, it's levelling: deciding which division each player belongs in," said Jherome Escueta, Founder of Sports Control Hub. "Self-declared skill levels break down the moment you have more than a handful of participants. With DUPR as our official rating system, every player comes in with a rating that reflects their actual match results, so organizers can place players in the right divisions with confidence and competitors know they're facing opponents at their level. That's what fairness looks like at scale."

How Sports Control Hub powers tournaments

Sports Control Hub is designed for organizers who want to run professional-grade events without a large operations team. The platform covers the full life of a tournament:

• Registration, categories, and pools
• Scheduling that can be built ahead of time and adjusted on-site as the day unfolds
• Live scoring on court
• Real-time scores and standings on venue screens, so players and spectators always know where things stand
• Automated rankings and club management

How DUPR-rated tournaments work on Sports Control Hub

With DUPR integrated as the official rating system, organizers using Sports Control Hub can set up DUPR-rated tournaments directly within the platform. Player DUPR ratings are pulled in at registration, and results from DUPR-rated events are submitted to DUPR so that player ratings update after the tournament.

Through the integration, Sports Control Hub now supports:

• DUPR-rated tournament setup within Sports Control Hub
• Player DUPR ratings pulled at registration to support accurate levelling and category placement
• Match results submission from Sports Control Hub to DUPR for rated events
• Club integration, connecting clubs managed on Sports Control Hub with their DUPR club presence

A globally recognized rating, closer to home

Pickleball is growing rapidly across Southeast Asia, and until now many players in the region have had limited access to DUPR-rated competition. For players, the partnership means the DUPR-rated tournaments they enter through Sports Control Hub count toward their official DUPR rating, the same rating used by clubs, leagues, and tournaments around the world.

For organizers, it removes the friction of running a rated event. Ratings come in at registration, divisions are levelled against a trusted standard, and results flow back to DUPR without manual work.

"Our goal with Sports Control Hub has always been to make running a high-quality tournament dramatically simpler, while giving players a better experience from registration all the way to the final match," said Paul Tolentino, Co-Founder of Sports Control Hub. "DUPR adds an important layer to that vision. When a player's rating, tournament placement, match results, and progression can all be connected, tournaments become more than a single day of competition; they become part of a player's journey in the sport."
