Q: How do I get a DUPR rating?

There are several ways to get a DUPR rating. First, play in DUPR-reported matches: play in a tournament, league, club event, or other DUPR-reported match, and once the result is submitted DUPR automatically calculates or updates your rating. Second, get an AI Rating Assessment: submit a video of yourself playing through a video or AI technology provider that uses DUPR. If you haven't played any DUPR matches, you'll receive a Starting AI rating; if you already have a DUPR rating, the data from the AI provider will be used to recalculate your DUPR. Third, get evaluated by a DUPR Coach, who can evaluate your playing level during a rating session. The more reliable match data you build, the more confidently DUPR can measure your playing level over time.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Anyone can have a DUPR rating. One match result is all it takes, and with 10-20 match results you will have an even more accurate rating.

WHAT IS THE DUPR RATING SCALE?

DUPR ratings range from 2.000 to 8.000, with new players starting as NR (Not Rated). Your rating is calculated from your playing history and updates as you play and submit eligible results.

Rating ranges:

2.000–2.999: Novice
3.000–3.999: Intermediate
4.000–4.999: Advanced
5.000–8.000: Professional
