DUPR and Pickle Time partner to grow pickleball in Thailand

Scan a QR code, step on the court, and your match can count toward your DUPR rating. That’s the idea behind DUPR’s new partnership with Pickle Time, a pickleball platform built for clubs and players in Thailand.
The integration connects everyday club play with official DUPR ratings and match results. For players and organizers growing pickleball in Thailand, it means less setup before a session and a clear path to rated play when a match should count.
How Pickle Time works at the club
Pickle Time is built around how Thai clubs already play. Players scan a QR code at the court and join from their phone’s browser. No app download needed to start a session.
Once play starts, rally scores update live on the venue scoreboard. Organizers can run open play and tournaments in one place, including:
- Queues and player pairing
- Court rotation
- Tournament brackets
Score from your wrist
Players can also keep score from the Pickle Time mobile app on a smartwatch. From the wrist, you can add a point, undo the last rally, and see your name and team. The court display stays in sync the whole time.
What the DUPR integration means for players
Players can connect their DUPR account and see their official singles and doubles ratings right inside Pickle Time.
When a match is eligible, the organizer can submit the result to DUPR, including on behalf of a DUPR club. Casual games stay on Pickle Time and don’t get sent, so a relaxed warm-up session won’t touch your rating.
That matters, because club and tournament results carry more weight in your DUPR than self-posted games. Organized, verified play gives the algorithm more reliable data about where your game actually stands.
Built for players in Thailand
Every match is saved to your Pickle Time profile, including partners, venues, and results. Over time, that becomes a clear record of who you’ve played, where, and how it went.
The platform runs in both English and Thai. Players can turn on LINE notifications to get a heads-up when it’s their turn on court or when a match ends. Player accounts are free.
Why this partnership matters
“Clubs here should not have to choose between an easy session and a match that counts,” said Paopan, Co-founder and CTO of Pickle Time. “Players can scan in, follow the scoreboard, and even score from a watch. When the game should be rated, they can send it to DUPR.”
