Some events are about who takes home the medal. Rally For Her was about who showed up September 26th at The Fort.

The day started with a pro clinic led by four of the sport's top players and coaches, then moved into a full tournament. Here's what the event stood for, who won, and the partners who made it possible.

What Rally For Her is all about

Rally For Her, hosted by Leveling the Fields, was a DUPR charity tournament with one goal: expanding access to sports for girls in underserved communities. Leveling the Fields runs after-school programs, coaching, and resources that help girls build confidence, leadership, and teamwork through sport. Every dollar raised through registration, sponsorships, and donations went directly to that mission.

Rally For Her had another goal: getting more women on the court at every level of the game. Pickleball makes it easy to pick up a paddle and play, but finding a group that feels both welcoming and competitive can still be a challenge. Rally For Her created a space for women to connect, compete, and feel like they belong.

The format reflected both goals. Players learned first, then competed. Everyone left with something, whether it was a medal, a new drill, or a new doubles partner. And every registration helped fund the next generation of girls in sport.

Inside the Rally For Her pro clinic

Four pros led the clinic:

  • Bobbi Oshiro
  • Michelle Esquivel
  • Emilia Schmidt
  • Sarah Ansboury

With four pros in one clinic, players got four different ways of seeing the game. Each pro brought their own style, Unique Drills and players got real feedback on the shots they'll use in their next open play or bracket.

Rally For Her tournament results

After the clinic, players put what they'd learned into competition. Here's who came out on top:

Women's max 3.49 :

  • Gold: Elliette Sanchez & Patricia Uribe
  • Silver: Ofelia Hamilton & Barbara tannenbaum
  • Bronze: Shirley Bain & Joan Nagar

Congratulations to every medalist, and to every player who stepped onto the court. We encourage you to Find More Tournaments and keep progressing on the court.
