Oasis hosts more than 200 events each year, ranging from weekly social gatherings to multi-day tournaments. Amenities include covered courts, a large pavilion, an on-site bar, a pro shop, and a new pizza oven.

OASiS Beach & Tennis Club opened in 2011 as a destination for beach volleyball and tennis.
Around 2017, a small group of players began adding temporary pickleball lines to a few courts. Those makeshift courts soon became eight permanent courts, then 16, and eventually the 42 dedicated courts at OASiS today.
Director of Pickleball Gene Click now oversees leagues, tournaments, lessons, clinics, open play, social events, and corporate outings. The club offers programming for players of all ages and skill levels.
More than 700 players are registered in the OASiS SWISH community, and most have connected their DUPR profiles.
This integration simplifies registration, player matching, score reporting, and event management for both players and organizers.
OASiS currently hosts three round robins each week and is launching a monthly DUPR-only event for players seeking verified, rating-based competition.

OASiS offers programming for beginners, experienced players, businesses, and large groups.
“More than just a facility, OASiS has become a thriving community where friendships are formed, competition flourishes, and a shared love of pickleball brings people together every day.” — OASiS Pickleball Club
Weekly events such as Thursday Night Pickleball & Pizza give players an opportunity to compete, meet new partners, and build lasting friendships. The club also hosts private parties, corporate outings, charity tournaments, and regional competitions.
What began with temporary court lines has grown into a pickleball destination for players from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.

When people talk about pickleball's global expansion, the conversation often centers on the United States or the rapid growth taking place across Asia. But another exciting story has been unfolding across Latin America, where the sport has been steadily building momentum through passionate local communities, expanding club networks, and an increasingly competitive tournament scene.
Over the past three months alone, more than 200 clubs across Latin America have joined the DUPR ecosystem, reflecting a region experiencing sustained growth driven by new national circuits, regional championships, and a packed calendar of competitive events.
To support that momentum, DUPR is proud to announce a new strategic marketing partnership with Hablemos De Pickleball, one of the leading Spanish-language media platforms dedicated to growing the sport throughout Latin America.

Through this partnership, DUPR and Hablemos De Pickleball will work together to educate players, clubs, coaches, and organizers about the broader DUPR ecosystem—from ratings and match results to coaching, player development, tournaments, and the technology helping shape the future of the sport.

"The passion for the sport is undeniable, and we're seeing strong organic adoption across the region. By partnering with Hablemos De Pickleball, we're investing in trusted local voices that can help players better understand the value of a global rating system and everything the DUPR ecosystem has to offer."

Players can now create, run, and submit rated matches directly to DUPR, and see their DUPR rating inside Main Court, without leaving the app
San Diego, CA (July 2026) Main Court, the community pickleball platform, today announced the full launch of its integration with DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), the sport's leading rating system, making it easier than ever for players to organize competitive play, submit official match results, and track their progress. DUPR currently serves 2 million players across more than 190 countries and powers ratings for tens of thousands of clubs, leagues, tournaments, and facilities worldwide. The partnership with Main Court enables players to see their DUPR rating inside Main Court and play DUPR-rated Round Robin events.
Through the integration, players can now:
Once a player links their DUPR account, their live DUPR rating appears directly on their Main Court profile. Past match history is also backfilled — so a player's rating on Main Court reflects their full competitive history, not just matches played going forward.
Organizers can now create DUPR-rated Round Robin events directly within Main Court. Match schedules, court assignments, standings, and results are managed in one place, with scores automatically submitted to DUPR upon completion. Players can create a DUPR match instead of a regular one, using DUPR skill level as the matching criteria. This means games are filled with players of a similar rating, making every session more competitive and more fun. Formats supported include Men's, Women's, Open, and Mixed.
Every rated match played through Main Court, whether in a Round Robin event or a standalone DUPR match, is automatically pushed to DUPR. Scores, match results, and player data flow seamlessly between the two platforms, keeping ratings accurate and up to date.
As pickleball continues to grow nationwide, the integration helps create a more connected playing experience by reducing administrative work for organizers while ensuring players receive accurate, verified ratings.
The integration is now available to Main Court users, giving players a seamless way to discover games, compete in organized events, and build an official DUPR rating without leaving the platform.
"DUPR is the number one rating platform in pickleball, and we are absolutely delighted to be connecting our Main Court community directly to their system. Our players care deeply about their rating and their progress, this integration means every match they play through Main Court now counts. It is a huge moment for our players and for building a more connected pickleball community."- David Alonso, Founder, Main Court
"Our mission is to make it easier for every player to access meaningful competition and accurately measure their progress," said Tito Machado, CEO of DUPR. "By integrating directly with Main Court, we're reducing friction for players and organizers alike while expanding the number of opportunities for players to earn an official DUPR rating through everyday play."- Tito Machado, CEO, DUPR

If you’ve ever played a refereed pickleball match, especially in pickleball tournaments, this rule matters more than you think and it catches players off guard all the time.
Let’s break down a simple but critical part of the pickleball rules straight from a DUPR referee.
Here’s the key rule:
You cannot hit the serve until the referee has finished calling the entire score.
You can start your service motion, but if you hit the ball before the full score is called, the outcome depends on when you hit it.
And yes, the penalty is real.
Serving before the score is fully called results in one of two distinct outcomes:

If your early serve is ruled a fault (for serving during the call):
In that case there is no warning. Just a lost opportunity.
That’s a tough way to give away points, especially in a close match.

This rule ensures:
In high-level play, where pickleball ratings are on the line, clarity matters and referees are trained to control the pace, players need to respect that rhythm
To avoid the fault penalty altogether:
That extra half-second can save you a point and your momentum.
In DUPR-tracked matches and tournaments, every point affects your rating.
Giving away free points due to a technical rule:
If there’s a referee on the court: Wait. Hear the full score. Then serve.
This serving rule is a small detail, but in competitive pickleball, small details win matches.

DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) and Pickleball Australia are proud to continue their partnership as they work together to support the rapid growth of pickleball across Australia.
Following the announcement in March 2025 naming DUPR as the official rating system of Pickleball Australia, the partnership continues to strengthen the Australian pickleball ecosystem through more accurate player ratings, fairer competition, and improved experiences for players, clubs, venues, and tournaments nationwide.
Pickleball Australia now represents more than 27,000 members and over 410 affiliated clubs and venues across the country, reflecting the extraordinary growth of the sport nationwide. Guided by its mission — “United and inclusive, we work together to strengthen the sport, grow the community, create impact and nurture the spirit of pickleball” — Pickleball Australia continues to play a central role in developing the sport at every level across the nation.
The continued partnership also comes as momentum builds toward the 2026 Australian Pickleball Championships, set to return to the Gold Coast at Pimpama Sports Hub following a record-breaking event in 2025. Last year’s championships welcomed 1,235 players, setting the current Southern Hemisphere participation record, with organizers aiming to surpass that milestone this year.
Australia has quickly emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing pickleball communities, driven by strong grassroots participation, expanding club infrastructure, and increasing demand for both recreational and competitive play. Through the continued integration of DUPR across Australian clubs, leagues, and tournaments, players gain access to a globally recognized rating system designed to create more competitive matches, clearer player pathways, and a more connected playing experience.
“We’re excited to continue building alongside Pickleball Australia as the sport reaches new heights across the country,” said Tito Machado. “Australia has become one of the most passionate and engaged pickleball communities in the world, and Pickleball Australia has done an outstanding job creating a strong foundation for long-term growth. We look forward to continuing to support players, clubs, and events across the region.”
“The first phase of our partnership with DUPR has laid an excellent foundation, and we’re delighted to see this partnership grow and develop into something even greater for our community,” said Brendan Lee, Executive Officer of Pickleball Australia. “The integration of DUPR across the nation’s clubs, leagues and tournaments has already made a real difference for players across Australia. We’re very excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to strengthen the sport at every level.”
As pickleball continues to grow across Australia and globally, DUPR and Pickleball Australia remain committed to supporting players at every level of the sport, from local community play through to major national competitions.
