Four college players are about to compete on the biggest stage in professional pickleball.

Kallan Arledge (Ohio State), Lauren Mercado (Utah Tech), Ryan Morneau (James Madison) and Ella Cosma (Arizona State University) earned their spots as College All-Stars at CPT Nationals. Starting July 8, they'll compete alongside all 20 MLP franchises at the DoorDash Mid-Season Tournament in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

How they got here

These four didn't just show up. They earned it.

Kallan and Ryan were named 1st Team All-Americans for the East at CPT Nationals. Lauren and Ella who was a top 10 women's player by DUPR. Their performance on the college circuit put them on the radar, and now they're stepping into a double-elimination tournament with pro prize money and MLP standings points on the line.

What they're walking into

The Mid-Season Tournament is not a warmup event. All 20 MLP franchises compete, teams are seeded by Points Per Match with Match Win % as a tiebreaker, and every result carries real weight toward the 2026 Post Season.

The college All-Stars get thrown into that mix. No separate bracket, no protected draw. Just competition.

Watch it go down

The DoorDash MLP Mid-Season Tournament runs July 8 to 12 at the Beer City Open, 30 Coldbrook St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, alongside the Beer City Open.
