Eligibility Changes

For the 2026–27 season, we’re adjusting the credit hour requirements for undergraduate players to better reflect the evolving level of competition. Our goal is to ensure student-athletes are maintaining academic commitments while still representing their schools with pride. These credit hours must be taken in the same semester as the college tournament you are playing in. Here are the requirements:

  • Undergraduate Students - 12 credit hours
  • Graduate Students - 6 credit hours
  • Graduating Seniors - Below minimums allowed for the final semester

Players must have received their high school diploma (or equivalency) to play in the College Pickleball Tour for the 2026-27 season.

Starting in the 2026-27 season, players will be allowed five consecutive seasons of participation in the College Pickleball Tour.  You can read more about our eligibility rules here. The College Pickleball Tour is launching a points-based ranking system for the 2026-27 season. You can learn more about the new college point system by visiting our blog.
