Champions Series Pickleball Adopts DUPR as Official Ratings Partner to Support Age-Inclusive Pickleball

Champions Series Pickleball (CSP) - formerly the National Pickleball League - today announced that it has adopted DUPR as its official ratings standard and named DUPR as the league’s ratings partner. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to age inclusion in pickleball and to giving players clear, trusted ways to track progress throughout their competitive lives.
Founded as the first professional pickleball league built for players aged 50 and over, CSP represents one of the most important groups in the sport’s growth. As part of this partnership, DUPR will power official CSP ratings while also delivering league-wide data and analytics, including head-to-heads, player and team stats, performance deep dives, and match recaps.
“Our league gives senior athletes the opportunity to chase professional dreams and stay competitive,” said Rod Davis, CEO at CSP. “By working with DUPR, we’re giving our players real tools to track progress, tell their stories, and stay connected to the broader pickleball ecosystem.”
“Pickleball has proven that competitive sport doesn’t have an age limit,” said Tito Machado, CEO of DUPR. “We’re proud to support this cohort of athletes by providing not just ratings, but deeper data and insights that recognize their impact, performance, and continued drive to compete.”
A Clear Pathway at Every Age
Pickleball has always been multigenerational, but structured competitive pathways for older players have been limited. CSP and DUPR share the belief that age should never be a barrier to progress, visibility, or ambition.
With DUPR integrated into league play, CSP athletes gain:
- A consistent and trusted way to track performance over time
- Deeper insights through stats, head-to-heads, and performance analytics
- A clear bridge between league play, tournaments, and the wider pickleball community
“This partnership reinforces what the pickleball community already knows,” said Davis. “Players over 50, and now over 40, are deeply competitive, committed, and passionate about the sport. DUPR helps make that journey measurable and visible.”
League Growth and Expansion
While CSP was originally founded for players aged 50+, the league is expanding its structure to include additional age groups, creating a longer competitive runway supported by DUPR ratings and data.
Planned updates for 2026 include:
- A new 40s division
- A separate 60s division
Alignment Across the Pickleball Ecosystem
The partnership also aligns closely with the broader professional pickleball landscape, including:
- Licensing agreements with the United Pickleball Association (UPA), parent company of Major League Pickleball (MLP) and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA)
- League event registration through pickleballtournaments.com
- Growing overlap with major MLP and PPA events, including stops in Columbus, New York City, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, and the PPA World Championships in Dallas
