What does it take to walk away from a successful career, bet on yourself, and chase a dream that most people would call impossible? For Grayson Goldin, the answer is simple: everything.
Grayson's story isn't just about pickleball. It's about resilience, reinvention, and refusing to let life, or even a stroke, define your limits.
A Champion From the Start

Grayson Goldin has been competing at the highest level for as long as he can remember. He picked up a tennis racket at four years old and never looked back. By the time he was a junior, he had climbed all the way to the #1 ranking in the United States, going on to compete at the Division I college level and eventually professionally.
Tennis gave him more than trophies; it gave him discipline, the ability to perform under pressure, and an unrelenting competitive drive that would follow him into every chapter of his life.
The Pivot - From Business to Pickleball
After his tennis career, Grayson stepped into the world of business, working in technology and real estate. But deep down, something was missing. That itch to compete never fully went away.
Then came pickleball.
He first discovered the sport as a social outlet, a way to meet people and build relationships. But what started as a casual hobby quickly turned into something much bigger. The more Grayson played, the more he saw an opportunity. The sport was exploding in growth, and with his elite athletic background, he believed he could become one of the best players in the world if he committed fully.
So he did. He walked away from business and bet on himself.
"What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession," Grayson reflects. "I decided to bet on myself and pursue pickleball professionally."
Life on the PPA Tour
Today, Grayson competes on the PPA Tour and Major League Pickleball, two of the most competitive professional circuits in the sport. The transition from tennis to pickleball wasn't without its challenges, but his foundation as an elite athlete gave him the tools to rise quickly.
His mission goes beyond winning matches. Grayson is focused on building a lasting personal brand, through content creation, coaching, luxury pickleball experiences, and business ventures, that will make an impact long after his playing career ends.
Facing the Unthinkable
In early 2025, Grayson's world was turned upside down when he suffered a stroke that forced him to step away from competition for several months. For an athlete whose entire identity is built around competing, the experience was as humbling as it was terrifying.
But it also changed him.

"That experience gave me a completely different perspective on life and sport," he says. "It reminded me how grateful I am to compete, travel, and do what I love every day."
The road to recovery wasn't easy. There were unknowns, setbacks, and difficult moments. But Grayson met every single one of them with the same resilience that made him a champion on the tennis court. He never stopped moving forward.
What's Next
Grayson is back, and more motivated than ever.
His goal is clear: become one of the top players in the world and compete for major titles on the PPA Tour. The stroke didn't break his dream. If anything, it sharpened it.
"Right now, the focus is simple: get healthy, keep improving, and chase the dream of becoming the best player in the world." And with everything he's already overcome, it's hard to bet against him.
