High School National Championship

The first-ever DUPR High School National Championship is taking place at Life Time Lakeville, MN, from April 25-27! This groundbreaking event will bring together the top high school players from across the country to battle for the title of National Champion.

Who’s Competing?

The National Championship will showcase the best Varsity and JV1 teams from state competitions, with divisions for Coed, Men’s, and Women’s teams. Individual singles competitions will highlight the most elite high school athletes nationwide. Any high school can sign up, and all players are welcome.

The Competition Format

Coed teams will compete using the MLPlay format, a fast-paced, strategic style also featured in DUPR’s Minor League Pickleball and Collegiate Pickleball Pathway. This format has taken the pickleball world by storm and is designed to maximize excitement and competitive balance.

To accommodate all students, high schools with all-girl or all-boy teams can compete in a unique 3-person gender format, giving every team a chance to shine.

In addition to team competition, players can compete in a singles format designed to showcase individual talent and skill development. The singles division will follow a round-robin or pool play structure, ensuring multiple matches for every participant before advancing to a knockout stage.

The Pickleball Pathway

The High School National Championship is more than just a tournament—it’s an opportunity for high school players to compete at a high level and continue growing in the sport. Whether you’re looking ahead to collegiate play, professional competition, or simply want to test your skills on a national stage, this event brings together top talent and fosters a strong pickleball community.
