This September, the pickleball community is coming together for more than a tournament.

Rally for Her, a partnership between DUPR and Leveling the Fields, is bringing together players, coaches, creators, and fans to help more girls and young women experience the confidence, leadership, and community that sports can provide.

Women involved in Rally for Her shared how pickleball has shaped their lives and what they hope the next generation will discover through the sport.

Emily Visnic, Content Creator and Writer at The Dink

Pickleball gave Emily Visnic a new beginning after her career as an elite alpine ski racer.

“It gave me a new competitive outlet, an amazing community, and a career I never expected.”

She hopes more women recognize that pickleball has space for everyone, whether they are beginners, professionals, or simply looking for a new community.

Mary, Multi-Club Athlete and Co-Founder of CourtPass

Mary believes the lessons learned through sports extend far beyond the scoreboard.

“The scoreboard may reset, but the confidence you gain from playing sports can last a lifetime.”

Through CourtPass, she works to grow racket sports through community-first programming and create more opportunities for people to get involved.

Dinks on Tap

The Dinks on Tap duo emphasized that winning is only one part of the experience.

“You have your team, you find your rhythm together, and those moments remind us why we play.”

They also highlighted the importance of representation. When young girls see women succeeding as players, coaches, ambassadors, and tournament directors, they can better imagine those possibilities for themselves.

Kaitlin & Lydia

Kaitlin Miller summarized the spirit of the initiative:

“That is what pickleball is all about: women supporting women.”

Lydia Hirt added that there is always space for more women in pickleball, sports, and business. When women work together to create opportunities, they open doors for others.

About Rally for Her

Rally for Her will take place on September 26, 2026, at The Fort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Proceeds from tournament registration, sponsorships, and donations will support after-school sports programs that help girls develop confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills.

The event will include tournament play, exhibition matches, fundraising activities, and community challenges.

How to Get Involved

Players can register for the Rally for Her tournament. Those who cannot attend can still donate to Rally for Her and help expand access to sports for girls and young women, or share this story with someone who believes every girl deserves a shot at the game.

Together, the pickleball community can help more girls recognize that they belong in sports and have the opportunity to compete, lead, and grow. Every rally, every dollar, and every share helps put more girls on the court.
