Top Pro Singles Riser: Maria Vyshkina

Maria debuts at #22 in DUPR’s Women’s Pro Singles Rankings this month, coming in from outside the Top 50. That’s a climb of at least 29 spots, and it puts her straight into the Top 25 in her first appearance on the list. At 22 years old, she carries a 5.559 singles rating. Her recent results this past month have shown a tremendous improvement in her singles game. Her last tournament result was a quarterfinal run with wins over Jalina Ingram, Genie Bouchard, and Milan Rane. With that kind of momentum, Maria has plenty of reason to carry confidence into the final stretch of the year.

Top Pro Doubles Riser: Elliott Schupp 

Elliott made the biggest jump in the DUPR Men’s Pro Doubles Rankings this month, climbing 19 spots from #50 to #31. He was already on the Top 50 list, so this month didn’t cross a new milestone, but the move takes him from the very edge of the rankings into the middle of the pack. At 19, he holds a 6.237 doubles rating. This past month, Schupp just won his first PPA Tour title at the Mojo Energy Pouches Virginia Beach Open in men’s doubles alongside Jaume Martinez Vich. A major milestone for a player still in the early stages of his professional career! 

Top Junior Riser: Stevie Petropouleas

Stevie had the standout month of any junior player in the files. In the DUPR Girls’ Junior Singles Rankings, she debuts at #9 from outside the Top 50, a jump straight into the Top 15, with a 4.898 rating. In the DUPR Girls’ Junior Doubles list, she also climbed from #29 to #25, breaking into the Top 25 with a 5.029 rating. And she’s just 15. After representing Greece at the Pickleball World Cup in Vietnam and competing at the APP Louisville, Stevie continues to build valuable experience on the competitive stage. Her progress will be one to watch.
