Top Pro Doubles Riser: Richard Livornese Jr

Livornese is this month’s Top Doubles Riser for August, jumping 0.159 to reach a DUPR rating of 6.336. The move also breaks him into the Top 25 of the DUPR Men’s Doubles Rankings. And Livornese has had quite the month. He is currently riding a four-tournament gold-medal streak with Jack Munro on the APP Tour and is coming off a double-gold performance at APP Detroit, where he took home gold in both Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Needless to say, August has been good to Livornese.

Top Pro Singles Riser: Armaan Jiwa Mawji

Mawji has been a consistent presence on the PPA and PPA Challenger Tours, and his results in August earned him the title of Top Singles Riser. He jumped 0.161 to reach a singles DUPR rating of 5.881. In August, Mawji captured the singles title at the PPA Seattle Challenger and followed it up with a bronze-medal finish at the PPA Vancouver 250. He’s knocking on the door of the Top 50, and we hope to see him break into that group soon.

Top Junior Doubles Riser: Adelie Osher

Osher claimed the top spot as our Top Junior Doubles Riser this month, making the biggest jump of 0.248 to reach a DUPR rating of 5.173. That move has her sitting at No. 19 in the Girls’ Junior Doubles Rankings, officially breaking into the Top 20. At just 17 years old, Osher is already making her mark on the PPA Tour. This month, she earned her first PPA medal, taking home bronze alongside Lindsey Newman in Women’s Doubles at the PPA Wisconsin Challenger. A huge milestone and an exciting month for Osher. Congrats!

Top Junior Singles Riser : Mateusz Matysik

Originally from Poland, 18-year-old Matysik is a young lefty who has recently been making his mark on the APP Tour and competing internationally. Matysik is our Top Junior Singles Riser for August, jumping 0.187 points to reach a DUPR rating of 5.667. That move puts him at No. 7 on the Boys’ Junior Singles Rankings, officially cracking the Top 10. This month, Matysik captured bronze in Singles at the English Open, competing against a strong field that included many of the top APP players who traveled across the pond for the event. Matysik is already making waves internationally, and we’ll be keeping an eye on his continued rise.
