Top Pro Doubles Riser: Carlota Trevino

Trevino first appeared in my Top Risers blog back in February for her singles performances. Now, she's earned another spot, this time for doubles, after posting one of the biggest rating gains of May and June. She climbed an impressive 0.240 to reach a 5.768 doubles DUPR rating.

She's been on an absolute tear recently. Trevino captured the mixed doubles title at the PickleMoneyBall tournament in Dallas alongside Etienne Blaszkewycz, emerging from a highly competitive field. The weekend before, she teamed up with Kelly Goodnow to win the women's doubles title at the Boise PPA Challenger, continuing her outstanding run of form.

Top Pro Singles Riser: Mikar Fisher

Fisher is a name to keep an eye on. He jumped 0.136 over the past two months, climbing to a 5.784 singles DUPR rating. Having trained alongside some of the top singles players in Kansas City, including Federico Staksrud, Fisher isn’t a stranger to the game. While he hasn't played a large number of tournaments, he recently turned heads with an impressive run at the DJoy event in Vietnam.

Fisher advanced to the semifinals after defeating both Arjun Singh and Richard Livornese before falling to Phuc Huynh in a tightly contested three-game match, 11-13 in the deciding game. It was a breakout performance that showcased his potential, and hopefully it's just the beginning of more deep singles runs on tour.

Top Junior Doubles Riser: Kelly Goodnow

You may recognize this name from this past week, when she made her Major League Pickleball (MLP) debut in New York at just 14 years old. Called up to compete for the Carolina Hogs, she made an immediate impact by helping the team earn a victory over the Palm Beach Royals on opening day.

She also claims the Top Riser spot among all juniors for May and June, moving up an impressive 0.372 to reach a 5.527 doubles DUPR rating.

Her success doesn't stop there. She recently teamed up with Carlota Trevino to win the women's doubles title at the PPA Boise Challenger, becoming the youngest gold medalist in PPA Tour history. That's an incredible accomplishment and a clear sign that she's one of the brightest young talents in the sport.

Top Junior Singles Riser : Maverick Messinger

Messinger is the Top Riser among juniors in singles for the months of May and June, improving an impressive 0.376 to reach a 5.195 singles DUPR rating.

His biggest breakthrough came at the PPA Boise Challenger, where he earned a standout victory over fellow junior Braden Jacobson, a member of the MLP's Las Vegas Night Owls. It's a signature win that highlights Messinger's growing potential on the tour.
